Course Description

A brief introductory session to Apple’s OS X platform that runs on all of their computers. In this session we’ll be focusing on the El Capitan release and going over some of the more commonly used applications and how we can use them to become more efficient in our daily workflow.

  • Join Instant Hotspots from your iOS devices.
  • Answer calls from your iPhone on your computer.
  • Use Handoff to continue working on documents between your iOS and OS X devices.
  • Send and receive SMS messages using your computer.
  • Use AirDrop to share files faster with your peers.
  • Configure Family Sharing to share purchases, photos, calendars and more within your family.
  • Set up Messages for encrypted messaging between other OS X users.
  • Add signatures to Mail and fill out PDF forms.
