Course Description

While 302 covers the fundamentals of NetBoot, Network Install, and NetRestore using Apple tools in preparation for the ACSA certification exam, this 2-day DeployStudio course involves hands-on training with DeployStudio only.

Who Should Attend?

This class is designed for anyone planning to use DeployStudio to set up a computer imaging server.

What You Will Learn

DeployStudio will focus on building a fully network-based deployment system that can either be used locally from an external hard drive/partition or remotely using images hosted by a server. You will learn how to create and restore images, create workflows and scripts, deploy images to clients, configure NetBoot service, and automate the Mac deployment process.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisite knowledge would be advantageous but is not required prior to attending this course:

• Basic knowledge of Macs in a network environment
• Experience with Mac disk images
